Electrical Supervisor

Role Overview

Merit Electric is a national electrical contractor seeking an Electrical Supervisor to manage day-to-day field operations, supervise a workforce, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met. The role involves coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience running large-scale electrical projects, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication skills.

What You Will Do

Coordinate and manage field operations, supervise and mentor a workforce, oversee project scope, plan work areas, coordinate with contractors, assist with pricing changes, monitor quality control, and manage progress reports and time sheets.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience running large scale electrical projects
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and schematics
• Electrical license preferred but not mandatory
• Verifiable work experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed and capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Able to work effectively in stressful, time-sensitive environments
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• High standard of integrity and professionalism
