Platform Support Engineer

MerQube is seeking a Platform Support Engineer to help maintain and improve the reliability of their production systems, including investigating technical issues, debugging backend services and data pipelines, and working closely with engineers to diagnose and resolve system problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years experience building production services using Python/Go/C++/Java
• Experience working with backend systems or data processing pipelines
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Python or similar backend programming languages
• Experience working with SQL and data systems
• Ability to investigate complex technical issues across multiple services
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Interest in learning about financial systems and data processing
