Job Description
As a Party & Event Host, plan, coordinate, and facilitate events at Michaels stores, delivering a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. Provide excellent customer service, execute operational tasks, and adhere to company standards.
Requirements
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once
- Engage with clients of all ages
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
- Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
- Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
- Educate customer on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes
- Participate in truck un-load, stocking and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Support shrink and safety programs
