Job Description
Mimica is hiring a Senior HR/People Ops Specialist to manage payroll, benefits, and compliance for ~200 employees in Costa Rica. The role involves owning the execution and integrity of the payroll system, ensuring compliance, and shaping how the company operates locally as it scales.
Requirements
- Background in HR services and payroll coordination
- Working knowledge of labor law and employment practices in Costa Rica
- Hands-on experience with benefits and leave management
- Familiarity with complex, multi-entity environments
- Experience working through audits and statutory reporting
- Ability to operate without full structure and interpret requirements
- Execution depth and attention to detail
