Senior Reporting Analyst | Wellington | Permanent

The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for working with stakeholders to consolidate outcome reports and related data, providing in-depth analysis and guidance to inform decision-making and risk assessment in service procurement. The role involves producing reports, maintaining dashboards, and interacting with colleagues to assure accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Developing high-quality reports
• Proficiency in using Excel, specifically in providing data that suits and meets the need of intended audiences
• Ability to understand and write Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Proven experience in using Oracle’s Reports and Analytics tool (OBTI and BIP) or similar BI tools
• Technical skills in responding to requests for data within required timeframes
• Familiarity with public sector reporting processes and the systems required to fulfil these requirements
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and escalate issues when appropriate
• Eye for detail and experience in peer reviewing the work of others
