Interested in finding ways to improve court systems through problem solving and customer service? This position acts as a liaison between the State Court of Appeals Unit, judicial staff, attorneys, and other stakeholders about cases being appealed.
Requirements
- Manage court records for all case types, assuring completeness and accuracy of the record before sending the record and accompanying exhibits to the Appellate Court.
- Accurately complete administrative work in the office by performing high-level case processing and data entry work in all case types by utilizing multiple court technology systems.
- Communication via email with judicial staff and stakeholders to effectively manage appeal requests and meet the business needs of the court to assure equal access for the fair and timely resolution of cases and controversies.
- Assist the Centralized Contact Center by answering questions regarding all divisions from the public, attorneys, and stakeholders via phone for a minimum two hours per day.
- Effectively use technological tools, such as: Minnesota Court Information System (MNCIS), Minnesota Judicial Branch website and Minnesota Court Records Online (MCRO), Online chat solution, Mitel Phone System
