Job Description
Construction Technician role at Minto, supporting the Construction Team in delivering construction projects from framing to completion, while providing an exceptional customer experience and upholding Minto's core values.
Requirements
- Seek opportunities to assist homeowners in providing an exceptional customer experience
- Present themselves in a professional and customer-focused manner in all interactions with homeowners
- Review, assess, and report any safety issues to Health & Safety Rep or direct supervisor
- Complete repair lists resulting from quality control MPDI and PDO inspections
- Assist in identifying and assessing construction deficiencies and perform repairs in a timely manner
- Report defects and damages to Construction Site staff if applicable
- Conduct interior repairs on windows, doors, frames, baseboards, floors
- Conduct carpentry finishing, as required
- Conduct repairs on insulation and drywall, as required
- Prepare the house for inspections including City and customer
- Ensure the complete cleanup of the home inside and out
- Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management
