The Work for Success Case Manager shall provide case management services to clients served in the Mirror Work for Success Program, facilitating educational presentations and providing referral services to eliminate barriers to employment and ensure continuing success. The Case Manager shall operate in an ethical, professional manner, interacting with others to create and maintain respect for the agency and the State of Kansas, Department for Children and Families.
Requirements
- Graduate of a four-year accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a social or behavioral science area of study
- Minimum of one-year paid experience providing case management or workforce development services
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with target population
- Must pass a background and child abuse check
- Must be free of chemical dependency for at least 2 years prior to employment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and with a basic understanding of Excel
