Job Description
Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead the structural engineering work for SCR gas duct systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The role involves overseeing design and analysis of ductwork and structural components, collaborating with stakeholders, and enhancing standards for equipment skid bases and pipe support systems. The company operates as a team focused on pioneering innovative and sustainable energy technologies.
Requirements
- Perform, review, comment, and approve engineering documentation and structural analysis for SCR gas duct system
- Collect, review, interpret, and integrate design requirements
- Prepare and review engineering technical requirements and material estimates
- Engage in technical conversations with customers
- Prepare and review budgets, bids, technical requirements, and commercial requirements
- Lead periodic reviews of civil/structural team's execution schedule, expedited engineering activities, escalated critical needs, and reported on technical delivery status
