Senior Consultant – SQL, Cognos & Looker

Model N is seeking an experienced and innovative senior technical consultant to join our Global Services team. The right candidate must be exceptionally strong and experienced as a technical consultant, with expertise in the implementation of enterprise-class BI software packages based on BI tools like IBM Cognos & SQL.

Requirements

• Collaborate with global clients and internal stakeholders to gather technical requirements.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analysis.
• Translate functional and business requirements into technical specifications and Cognos/SQL deliverables
• Design, develop, and maintain Cognos reports
• Work with delivery teams to ensure the successful implementation and transition of solutions.
• Full BI software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations support.
• Translate customer requirements into BI software design, development, plan, and implementation. Propose system design/enhancements based on customer problems and product requirements. Communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
• Ensure system changes are tested properly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data flows and improve reporting efficiency.
