Emergency Services Clinician

The Emergency Services Clinician is responsible for providing crisis support and assessment to individuals and families in the Cheshire Medical Center Emergency Department. This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team, analyzing situations in a hospital setting, and coordinating care with community mental health centers. Coverage is provided on second shift Monday-Friday and first and second shift on Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

• Work as a consultant within the Cheshire Medical Center Emergency Department (ED)
• Apply strong clinical judgment in the development of clinical formulations and safety plans
• Complete clinical documentation in accordance with medical necessity guidelines
• Maintain credentials at Cheshire Medical Center
• Demonstrate flexibility, critical thinking, and client-centered care
• Work flexible hours to ensure crisis interventions and documentation
• Attain and maintain credentials at Cheshire Medical Center
• Complete IEA and CD Revocation paperwork
