Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Punch Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating punch press machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications.
Requirements
- Set up and operate punch press machines to produce metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other specifications to determine production requirements
- Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, speed, and depth of cut
- Monitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or defects
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
