Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner, Ostomy and Wound Program provides wound care and ostomy management and education to inpatients and outpatients, working with a high degree of autonomy and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Three to five years acute ostomy or wound care RN nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Master's Degree in Nursing required
- Currently licensed in California as an NP and certified as a nurse practitioner by a recognized national certifying body
- Certification from either ANCC or AANP as a nurse practitioner
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- Advanced wound certification (e.g. Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) and/or Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification) preferred
