Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Baker to join our team at Montage Palmetto Bluff. The ideal candidate will have extensive baking experience, a positive personality, and good interpersonal skills. The Lead Baker will be responsible for prepping, preparing, and executing all menu items to specification, following directions of the Executive Pastry Chef daily.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- Extensive baking experience
- Ability to read recipes and follow directions
- Ability to efficiently and safely handle knives, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Visual acuity for near, depth, and color perception
- Two years of previous restaurant cooking experience in a high end restaurant
- Positive personality and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to make sound decisions
- Speak, read, and write English fluently
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays
