Job Description
The Corrections Officer exists to secure inmates in the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Detention Facility. Duties include intake, transporting inmates, controlling and monitoring booths, searching cells, and responding to emergency situations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Ability to act without immediate supervision and exercise independent judgment in meeting emergencies
