Director Solution Specialist - Media Solutions

Moody's is seeking a Director Solution Specialist - Media Solutions to drive the pre-sales function for Europe/Africa Territory, helping customers decode risk and unlock opportunity. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Moody's NewsEdge offerings and technical sales skills, with a focus on identifying efficiency improvements and demonstrating the value of Moody's solutions through product demos and proof-of-concepts.

Requirements

• Understanding of Moody's NewsEdge offerings and the specific business concerns facing our clients
• Strong understanding of software solutions typically utilized in the corporate landscape such as CRMs, ERPs, procure to pay, and lead to cash solutions
• Customer facing experience with comfort leading sales calls and engaging directly with clients, product teams, and sales teams
• Sales mentality and commercial mindset with a strong drive to win new customers
• Demonstrated experience in technical sales including data and SAAS solutions, with exposure to complex sales cycles considered a plus
• Proven ability to analyze business processes and workflows, with a knack for identifying efficiency improvements
• Interest in learning or experience with Spark, SQL, Python for API development is highly encouraged, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders
