Volunteer Manager (Open to MTW Alumni Only)

The Volunteer Manager is an organized and enthusiastic alumnus of More Than Words who engages volunteers to support our mission in many ways. The Manager runs 2-3 group volunteer events weekly, interviews and onboards recurring individual volunteers, stays in regular communication with 30-40 individuals about their weekly schedule, and provides administrative support for the program including managing an active volunteer email inbox.

Requirements

• Group Volunteer Events: Maintains a detailed and accurate calendar of group volunteer events, coordinates with staff, runs events, engages youth, manages sign-in, and clean up.
• Individual Volunteers: Manages schedules for 30-40 individual volunteers, communicates with volunteers, hosts overview sessions, manages application process, and maintains accurate records.
• Department Support: Supports Advancement Department with donation processing, donor recognition, and marketing function by capturing photos and videos.
