Morton Salt is seeking an HRIS Manager to lead the execution and delivery of complex HRIS initiatives, including system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and process optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive HRIS experience, advanced knowledge of HRIS architecture and data structures, and hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, and/or SAP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive HRIS experience supporting enterprise HR systems in a complex, multi-system environment.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS architecture and data structures, including employee lifecycle data, job and position management, security models, workflows, integrations, and data governance.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG (Enterprise/UKG Pro), Ceridian Dayforce, and/or SAP.
- Proven experience leading HRIS projects from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent processes and their interdependencies across HR systems.
- Advanced reporting and analytics expertise, including development of complex reports, dashboards, and data extracts for operational, leadership, and compliance use.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, formulas); experience with Power Query, BI tools, or data visualization platforms preferred.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting HR system integrations, vendor interfaces, and file-based data exchanges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions within defined standards and governance.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across HR, IT, and Finance.
- Experience supporting HRIS audit, compliance, and data privacy requirements, including SOX, EEO, and internal/external audits.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor HRIS analysts, promote best practices, and serve as a senior functional subject matter expert within an execution-focused role.
