Job Description
Morton Salt is an iconic company with a strong heritage and a bright future. The Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for US GAAP general accounting postings, general ledger account balance analysis, and the preparation and review of account reconciliations. This role will oversee the monthly close process, account reconciliation and analysis, and internal control and audit.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum of 5-7 years in a corporate accounting function at a large company
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Team player capable of multi-tasking
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Minimum 2 years of prior leadership experience
