Job Description
Motive is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to build systems and automation for the Motive platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and improving CI/CD infrastructure, improving the SDLC release process, and streamlining microservice creation mechanisms. The role requires a strong understanding of Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and other technologies such as Bash, Python, and Ruby on Rails.
Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in building CI/CD infrastructure
- Improving the SDLC release process
- Streamlining microservice creation mechanisms
- Streamlining developer's local environments
- Git flow and versioning strategy expertise
- Working with mechanisms that facilitate reproducible builds across the org
- Experience improving the developer experience with multiple stakeholders in a large organization
- Experience in Golang, Ruby on Rails, Python or similar languages
- Working knowledge of AWS services and technologies
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management
- Experience with large scale distributed release management processes
- Experience in a containerized world with orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
