MCI is hiring multiple Mechanics across a range of skill levels. As a Mechanic, you will perform advanced diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and safety.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in automotive, diesel, or related fields
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air and Passenger endorsements (preferred)
- High-Voltage (HV) Safety Certification and HV Maintenance/Repair Training (highly desired)
- Diagnostic Tools: Utilize systems like Vansco, Cummins INSITE, and other diagnostic tools to assess and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Precision Tools: Employ equipment such as hydraulic presses, pullers, manometers, tachometers, decelerometers, and VOA instruments to perform intricate maintenance and repair tasks
- Measurement and Calibration Tools: Use dial indicators, micrometers, reamers, and hones to fine-tune components and ensure precise measurements during repair and calibration processes
- Pumps and Testing Equipment: Apply vacuum and compression pumps to test engine performance, identify issues, and ensure engines meet operational standards
- Fleet & Data Management Software: Operate platforms like Oracle and Fleetio to track maintenance activities, input work orders, and manage fleet data
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar management, as well as the ability to quickly learn and navigate other digital tools and software
