We are hiring multiple Mechanics across a range of skill levels to perform advanced diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. As a Mechanic at MCI, you will be a part of a team leading the world's electrification of mass mobility and have opportunities for advancement within our family of companies.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in automotive, diesel, or related fields
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air and Passenger endorsements is preferred
- High-Voltage (HV) Safety Certification and HV Maintenance/Repair Training is highly desired
- Diagnostic tools such as Vansco, Cummins INSITE, and other diagnostic tools
- Precision tools such as hydraulic presses, pullers, manometers, tachometers, decelerometers, and VOA instruments
- Measurement and calibration tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, reamers, and hones
- Pumps and testing equipment such as vacuum and compression pumps
- Fleet & Data Management Software such as Oracle and Fleetio
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance
- Must have the physical ability to climb ladders, work on elevated surfaces, and access tight or confined spaces
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours)
- Adequate visual ability to read diagnostic screens, inspect parts for defects, and identify color-coded wires and components
- Hearing capability to detect unusual vehicle noises, alarms, or other diagnostic indicators
