Job Description
Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, the Sales Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting for new business, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and tracking and reporting on account activity. The role requires a dynamic individual with sales development and customer-focused skills.
Requirements
- Prospecting for new business to develop relationships with key decision-makers
- Understanding and responding to customer needs
- Tracking and reporting on account activity
- Lead generation expertise to include identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources
- Qualifying existing leads in Salesforce.com and Avigilon lead databases
- Coordinating and promoting webinars in assigned region
- Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales objectives for assigned territory
- Accepting inbound and performing outbound telephone calls to identify sales opportunities
- Meeting and exceeding daily call and activity metrics
- Aligning with other members of the sales organization to support overall company revenue targets
