ParkerStore Support Specialist

Provides customer service for in-store, email, and phone ParkerStore customers, maintaining quality standards and relationships with customers. Fabricates hydraulic, industrial and pneumatic hose assemblies and performs various tasks related to store operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• Two to three years of related work experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
• Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, effectively and professionally with customers, vendors and other Triad employees
• Strong mathematical skills
• Utilizing tools such as tape measures, micrometers
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to handle products (inventory) up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to support after-hour emergency calls during nights and weekends, as necessary
• Accurate keyboarding skills (for data entry)
• Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge
• Knowledge of Prophet21 software and other vendor computer systems (preferred)
• Willingness to take a Mechanical Aptitude test
