Job Description
Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. is seeking a Director Communications to support the development and execution of communications, publicity strategy, and key organizational initiatives for the New York Rangers. The role will oversee credentialing operations, develop press materials, and manage department-led special events.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in PR or Communications
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study
- Experience working with a professional sports team, with a focus on hockey
- Understanding of media relations and experience dealing with media
- Exemplary verbal and written communications skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in Adobe InDesign a plus
- Experience establishing contacts with media outside sports
- Prior experience in fast paced environment working with tight deadlines
