Director Communications- NYR

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. is hiring a Director Communications to support the development and execution of communications, publicity strategy, and key organizational initiatives for the New York Rangers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in PR or Communications
• Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
• Experience working with a professional sports team, with a focus on hockey
• Understanding of media relations and experience dealing with media
• Exemplary verbal and written communications skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience in Adobe InDesign a plus
• Experience establishing contacts with media outside sports
• Prior experience in fast paced environment working with tight deadlines
