Community Counselor

Community Counselor position at the East Texas Treatment Facility in Henderson, Texas. Performs substance abuse counseling work, coordinates with other departments, and maintains accurate records. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
• One of the following licenses/certifications: a letter of registration as a Counselor Intern (LCDC-I); or current certification as Certified Criminal Justice Professional Applicant Status (CCJP-A); or a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) license from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Certified Criminal Justice Professional (CCJP) as approved by the Texas Certification Board of Addiction Professionals, Certified Program Instructor or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required, unless waived by management.
