Job Description
Work with new students for testing, assessment and development of assistance and retention plans; provide prevention sessions, conduct TEAP classes, and review assigned areas for contractual compliance. Assess students with substance use problems, develop intervention plans, and work with mental health consultants and staff to intervene with substance users. Provide ongoing training for staff members on substance use and awareness, and develop linkages with community resources for TEAP services.
Requirements
- Unrestricted Oregon license/certification as an independent drug and alcohol counselor
- 15 college credits in addictions education
