Mueller Water Products, Inc. is seeking a Water Infrastructure Regional Manager for the Western Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales area and associated personnel, establishing sales strategies, and promoting new and existing products. The role requires extensive sales experience, understanding of Mueller's market strategies, and ability to work in a matrix environment.
Requirements
- Establish sales strategies, goals, and objectives for individual territories to achieve Region budget objectives
- Directly supervise, develop, and coach all assigned employees
- Establish and cultivate high-impact, strategic relationships with key distributors and end users
- Promote new and existing products to end user community
- Consult with sales personnel and key customers to actively resolve any service, or quality issues
- Evaluate significant bid opportunities and provide senior management recommended price strategies
- Continually monitor individual territory progress towards objectives and implement corrective measures where performance falls short of goals
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing sales team through coaching, performance management, and succession planning
- Own regional business planning, forecasting, and execution aligned with Mueller's enterprise objectives
