This job description is for a Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) position at Multnomah County's Health Department. The BHP will work as part of the primary care treatment team, identifying and managing patients with medical and behavioral health needs. The role requires a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon. The BHP will provide brief behavioral interventions, follow-up appointments, biopsychosocial assessments, and evidenced-based psychotherapy interventions. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience working with adults with a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS, and preferred qualifications include crisis response, working within a medical system, and knowledge of local behavioral health treatment systems.
