Job Description
The Logistics Specialist supports 24/7 operations and performs operational, logistical support, and administrative tasks required to support ground and air transportation. The role involves coordinating the safe transport of minors and/or families and staff, managing daily operations for inventory, supplies, distribution, facilities, and transportation, and ensuring drivers are authorized to operate vehicles.
Requirements
- Associate degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college
- Two or more years of documented experience in a field related to security, law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar occupational area
- Two or more years' experience in business, logistics, transportation, supply chain or a related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to take technical direction and feedback from various sources
- Committed to providing outstanding customer service and representation of MVM in a professional manner
- Requires the ability to prioritize work, meet stringent deadlines, balance multiple tasks and work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to pass a Government Security Background Investigation
- Valid US passport book required or proof of being in the process of obtaining one
- US Citizenship, Permanent Residency
