Job Description
Performs quality assurance checks, sets up and operates plastic injection molding machines, and maintains inventories of materials.
Requirements
- Measures and visually inspects products for surface and dimension defects
- Regulates pressure, temperature, and speed and feed rates
- Reads specifications, blueprints and work orders to determine setups
- Preserves and removes molds from machines
- Maintains inventories of materials
- Performs preventive maintenance work on injection machines, molds and auxiliary equipment
