Job Description
DouroAzul is hiring a 2nd Cook to prepare and cook meals on board, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene. The ideal candidate has experience in tourist cruises and/or hospitality and/or catering, knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP, and English language skills.
Requirements
- Appropriate training for the position (preferably in a Hospitality School)
- Experience in the function in tourist cruises and/or hospitality and/or catering
- Knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP
- Knowledge of national and international cuisine
- Knowledge of English (preferential factor), with knowledge of German being valued
- Availability to embark on the Douro River during the cruise season
- Cooperation and teamwork in dividing tasks on the hotel ship
- Execution of loading, control, and verification of raw material entry
