National Power, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior/Master Generator Technician to perform and supervise service operations for customers and service teams. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities.
Requirements
- Supervise and direct the work of assigned service technicians
- Evaluate performance, provide coaching and feedback, and develop training programs
- Identify and assign team members to provide field support and mentorship
- Partner with Service Director to resolve employee performance or behavioral issues
- Participate in recruiting and hiring of field service technicians
- Conduct preventive maintenance, emergency maintenance, startup, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of generators and related equipment
- Make pre-startup site visits to advise and assist installing contractors
- Lead safety initiatives and oversight for all technicians in assigned geography
- Execute Quality Control programs within assigned geographic territory
- Support Service Manager in reviewing work orders at all stages of project execution
- Drive and promote continuous improvement of field operations
- Provide customer-focused support to enhance customer relationships and resolve concerns
- Support planning and quoting of complex service projects
- Assist Service Director with Generac warranty process administration
- Advise service operations team on time and materials needed for various service levels
- Provide after-hours emergency response support as needed
