Job Description
Behavioral Health Counselor provides outpatient therapeutic counseling services to patients, assessing and providing appropriate therapeutic counseling services for individuals, families, and/or groups presenting with problems related to general mental health and/or substance abuse.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Active and unrestricted AZBBHE licensure as a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), or Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor (LASAC)
- Three years of specialized experience in mental health and/or substance abuse with diverse populations
