Medical Social Worker - Pediatrics

Medical Social Worker - Pediatrics will provide counseling and intervention to assist in meeting the social, psychological, protective needs of patients and their families. This is a primarily pediatric and women services focused position supporting all areas of pediatrics inpatient and outpatient women services clinic.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited university
• Minimum of two years of experience in social work
• Knowledge of professional guidelines regarding confidentiality of client and staff information
• Competent in the use of a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient groups and their families
• Certified Social Worker (CSW) by Nebraska law OR Provisional Certified Master of Social Work (PCMSW)
