Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and overseeing the financial records and bookkeeping activities to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role includes processing tax-related information and select returns, performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, supporting cost and project accounting and conducting detailed financial analysis.

Requirements

• Perform project-level cost accounting by analyzing income and expenses, identifying variances, and providing actionable insights to support profitability, forecasting, and financial performance across active projects
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain detailed cost accounting schedules across multiple concurrent construction projects, ensuring accurate tracking of budgets, commitments, actuals, and variances to support timely financial reporting and project decision-making
• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account analysis, and adherence to accounting policies and internal controls
