Lead Wastewater Plant Operator

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Lead Wastewater Plant Operator to manage the operation, maintenance, renewal, and monitoring of wastewater facilities and associated systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Plant Supervisor and Lead Wastewater Plant Operator(s) to manage treatment operators, monitor facility operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Collaborate with the Plant Supervisor and Lead Wastewater Plant Operator(s) to manage treatment operators
• Monitor facility operations, collect and test samples, and read instrumentation (SCADA)
• Perform and manage a range of treatment facility activities, including operation of equipment, maintenance, monitoring systems, and process improvement
• Provide adequate, timely, and essential information for preparation of budgets, reports, and studies
• Train, lead, and mentor staff, including evaluating performance and providing leadership by example
