Job Description
The Wastewater Plant Operator II performs, plans, and organizes the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of wastewater facilities and associated systems. This role requires a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, compliance requirements, and operations and maintenance requirements. The position involves a high level of physical activity and requires the ability to work in a hazardous environment.
Requirements
- Wastewater treatment or a suitable combination of directly relevant education and experience
- Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (or predecessor agency) Class C Wastewater Treatment Operator's License
- High school diploma or GED (an associate degree or trade certification is preferred)
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
