Job Description
This Registered Nurse position assists individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or serious mental illness in achieving health needs through person-centered care. The role involves performing nursing services, collaborating with a treatment team, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices is essential. This is a full-time on-site position.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Michigan licensure to practice as a registered nurse
- Two to three years of practical experience in a variety of settings
- Certification in psychiatric nursing (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Meet state qualifications of QIDP or QMHP
- Knowledge of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Medicaid Provider Manual, and Michigan Mental Health Code preferred
