The Mental Health Associate I provides direct patient care to patients with mental health disorders, facilitating groups and ensuring patient safety.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health related field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a non-Behavioral Health related field with a minimum of one year of behavioral health experience
- Maintain information as highly confidential
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervision
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
