Job Description
The Patient Care Tech, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN), performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients in the Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry department at Glenbrook Hospital.
Requirements
- BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider
- Current CNA certification
- Completion of an accredited CNA training course
- Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing
