Job Description
Patient Care Technician, Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry, provides patient care tasks and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practicing Nurse, interacting with patients and visitors, assisting with room set up and patient transfer, and performing basic nursing care, including ADLs, vital signs, and calorie counts.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the US
- Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course preferred
- Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred
- Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider issued by either American Heart Association
