Patient Care Technician - Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry, Evening

The Patient Care Technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN), performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort, and safety of patients. The PCT will interact with patients and visitors, answer patient call lights, assist visitors within the facility, and perform hourly rounding on all assigned patients.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize, and ability to receive and follow through on directions
• Demonstrates concern for and commitment to the welfare of our patient and families
