Job Description
The Patient Care Technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN), performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age(s) of the patients served on the assigned unit.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course
- Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider issued by either American Heart Association
- Eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions
- Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork
