Job Description
The Patient Care Technician-Unit Secretary provides clinical and secretarial support for the Nursing Unit at Swedish Hospital in Chicago. The role assists the Nurse Manager and Unit Charge Nurse in maintaining efficient function of the unit and promotes positive public relations through courteous interactions with patients, families, staff and physicians.
Requirements
- CNA certification or completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course
- Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- High school graduate or equivalent
