Job Description
The RN New Graduate Nurse Residency Program is a 12-month program that supports new graduate nurses in making a successful transition to competent practice. The program provides a safe, nurturing, learning environment and includes a two-phase approach with focused curriculum concepts on disease-specific care, evidence-based practice, communication and teamwork, person-centered care, and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current CPR issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license
- On rare occasions an internal candidate with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing may be considered
