Registered Dietitian

Registered Dietitian position available at NorWest Community Health Centres, providing evidence-informed nutrition assessment, counselling, and education services in a community-based setting. The role offers flexibility, including remote/virtual service delivery options and a competitive salary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition with completion of a Dietitians of Canada–accredited internship program.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
• Membership with Dietitians of Canada is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in primary care, community health, or chronic disease management.
• Strong understanding of the social determinants of health and barriers impacting access to nutrition services.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, and group facilitation skills.
• Experience delivering virtual care and tele-nutrition services is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required for community-based work.
