Therapist

We are seeking a Therapist to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy to clients with complex mental health issues. The position offers a competitive salary, the Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan, and an excellent group health benefits package.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
• Registration in good standing with College of Registered Psychotherapists, or Ontario College of Social Workers or Social Service Workers, or the College of Psychologists.
• Minimum of two years’ clinical experience providing therapy and its application complex mental health issues.
• Experience working in a community based or outpatient mental health setting.
• Proficiency in the use of computers, knowledge of software applications and use of electronic medical records.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with an inter-professional team.
• Awareness and sensitivity to socio-economic and cultural issues.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle and ability to travel to other service locations.
