EHS Manager

Role Overview

The EHS Manager is responsible for the overall daily operation of the Safety department, including environmental, health, and safety strategies. This role oversees compliance with Federal, State, and Local Industrial Standards and maintains approval through internal and external audits.

What You Will Do

Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs. Oversee the investigation of work-related illness and injuries, and champion Human Performance principles through training and event learning teams.

Requirements

• BS degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental related discipline
• 5+ years experience in EHS or related field
• Certification preferred (CIH, CSP, and/or CHP)
• Demonstrated computer literacy with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulations
• Experience with hazardous materials, air permits, and environmental reporting
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
