
Job description
The EHS Manager is responsible for the overall daily operation of the Safety department, including environmental, health, and safety strategies. This role oversees compliance with Federal, State, and Local Industrial Standards and maintains approval through internal and external audits.
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs. Oversee the investigation of work-related illness and injuries, and champion Human Performance principles through training and event learning teams.
This role requires a strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulations, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player who interacts effectively with coworkers and can function under pressure.
